Raw Material

Raw materials need to be filtered in order to remove bulk and smaller particles from the product. Fileder recommends that the applied strategy should involve more than just one filtration stage and this could include either bag or depth filtration technology, depending on the loading volumes being filtered.

Initially applying the correct filtration method will likely minimise the need for filtration and added costs at a later stage.

Bulk Particle Removal

After compounding, residual unreacted or undissolved product is removed by utlising bag filtration. This offers a high flow, low pressure drop solution to bulk particulate reduction.

Targeted Filtration

To improve product prior to final stages of filtration, low micron bag filtration can still be employed. This further polishes the product and prolongs the lifespan of high efficiency cartridge filtration further down the process.
