Pure Water Production

Incoming mains or borehole water is pre-filtered with sediment and carbon cartridges before being forced through reverse osmosis (RO) membranes to produce water suitable for use as the base for marine and tropical fish environments.

This purifying technique reduces issues with algae growth, that affect coral and the tank, by removing the elements of phosphate, silicate and nitrates. This level of pure water is too pure for the fish and has a low pH, so appropriate buffers of beneficial mineral salts are added to make the water suitable for every type of fish.
