Facilities Management

Point-of-Entry

Filtration of the incoming water to site/building is used to protect the whole building, including the processes and staff within. It is common practice for water sources other than mains feed and is also used with mains feed when the site is, for instance, a food factory, hospital or manufacturer of beverages.

Depth cartridges protect pipework and equipment from clogging. Surface cartridges are used to remove specific contaminants such as cryptosporidium and bacteria. Softening systems prevent scale build-up, UV systems reduce biofilm growth rates and in some cases, RO systems are used if the source water has a range of unwanted contaminants.

Particle Removal

Prevents debris, dirt and particle build up in pipework, tanks, equipment and where present, premature blinding of filtration stages further along the cascade.

Pbh Spc

Hardness Removal

Prevents scale build up on tanks, pipework and equipment.

Spectrum Pws

UV Pre Filter

Filtering to 5 micron prior to UV treatment prevents 'shadowing' a condition where particulate shields bacteria from UV light

Efhs Pk 20 Ld

UV Disinfection

UV light impedes bacterial growth by sterilising the DNA of microorganisms, suppressing bio-film and bacteria colony growth.

RO Water Production

Very pure water is produced using reverse osmosis membranes to separate the majority of salts and ions from the feed water and sending the salts and ions to waste or re-circulation.

Bacteria Removal

Reducing the levels of bacteria to log 7
